{"id":10965,"date":"2024-12-04T16:00:01","date_gmt":"2024-12-04T15:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/commercialisation-new.dev.remediagroup.it\/?p=10965"},"modified":"2025-02-25T11:39:52","modified_gmt":"2025-02-25T10:39:52","slug":"enhanced-positioning-4-smart-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/commercialisation-new.dev.remediagroup.it\/?p=10965","title":{"rendered":"Enhanced positioning 4 Smart Road"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>JOIN THE ANAS &#8211; ESA GRAND CHALLENGE, BE PART OF THE SMART ROAD REVOLUTION AND GET THE CHANCE TO WIN PRIZE UP TO \u20ac 100,000<\/h3>\n<p>The <strong>European Space Agency<\/strong> together with the Italian leading company for road infrastructure management <strong>ANAS<\/strong>, is launching a new Grand Challenge: \u2018\u2019<strong>Enhanced positioning 4 Smart Road<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10966\" src=\"https:\/\/commercialisation-new.dev.remediagroup.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/GC_Immagine-per-post-LinkedIn.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Starting from <strong>04 December 2024<\/strong>\u00a0you can apply to <strong>Enhanced positioning 4 Smart Road &#8211; ESA Grand Challenge<\/strong> until <strong>31 March 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Participants are expected to deliver high-precision positioning solutions that integrate seamlessly with future smart road systems. The challenge promises to accelerate the adoption of autonomous and connected vehicle technologies, bringing us closer to a future where roads and vehicles work together to create safe and more efficient travel for everyone.<\/p>\n<p>The Enhanced positioning 4 Smart Road ESA Grand Challenge invites participants to develop solutions based on two main objectives:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Increase the accuracy of GNSS positioning in smartphones through advanced techniques such as real-time kinematic correction, the use of multiple satellite constellations and artificial intelligence-based data integration;<\/li>\n<li>Expand and refine the use cases of Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) services to enhance driver assistance systems, reduce false positives and negatives, and improve road safety.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you are an SME registered in one of the ESA Member, Cooperating, or Associate States, apply to compete in this new ESA Grand Challenge and get your chance to win up to \u20ac 100,000.<\/p>\n<p>If you would like to know more, an <strong>online Info Day<\/strong> will take place on <strong>03 March 2025<\/strong> at 3.00 pm CET.
